Police releases sketches of LSU twin-murder suspects

Dec 18:  The investigative team of Louisiana State University, LSU on Monday has released the sketches of two ‘black’ male suspects wanted for questioning in the connection of twin murder case that held in Edward Gay apartment at Louisiana on December 13 at around 9:00 pm local time, police officially reports. The police has also released these sketches on the LSU official website so that the suspects can get recognise soon by the general public.

The special squad of LSU murder case yesterday released the artistic sketches before the general public on television channels, news papers and university website with brief description given by some witnesses who had seen two people nearby apartment at the same time when the murder occurred.

“They were seen rushing from the apartment and carrying an older model, light-coloured Oldsmobile Alero car and looking in hurry. They were more in number than the released sketches,” said police on the basis of questioning and investigation conducted so far to nearby apartment residents and witnesses.

According to police, “the suspects were looking to rob someone when they killed the two victims Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma (31) and Kiran Kumar Allam (33).” “One of them believed to have been the driver of the car and was in his 20s.” said police.

The police has also informed, “the sketches of two suspects have been released on www.lsu.edu/pa/photos” to make it universal so that the people can recognise them and those accused could be identified soon.

Describing about the released sketches, police informed on the university website through releasing their sketch and compact description about them. “Suspect #1 is believed to have been the driver. He is a black male, estimated to be in his 20s. His hair was done in twists in rows. He was wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt.”, informed police on the university website.

As per second person, police said, “Suspect #2 is a black male also in his 20's, and possibly even over 30, 5'8"-5'10" tall, with a muscular build and a receding hairline. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt with a high collar and dark jeans.”

It is believed that one of the victims was identified arriving at the apartment complex and was followed to the other victim's apartment, where both Indian doctoral students were murdered. Police have not probed any clue regarding the other two men involved in the crime.

Both the victims, Kiran Kumar Allam (33) and Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma (31) were married and belong to the same state of India, Andhra Pradesh and were pursuing their doctoral degree in Chemistry and Biology respectively. Both were the students of Louisiana State University and Kiran was living with his wife in the Edward Gay Apartments located on the edge of the LSU campus where twin murder occurred on Thursday night.
