Srinagar, Sep 15 (ANI): Curfew continued in the Kashmir Valley for the third day on Wednesday.
Curfew continues to remain in force in Srinagar, Budgam and adjoining areas including Chadoora in central Kashmir, Ganderbal and adjoining areas including Kangan in north-east of the valley.
Anantnag, Kulgam, Qoimoh, Pulwama, Shopian, Pampore, Awantipora, Tral in south Kashmir, Tangmarg, Sopore, Kupwara, Trehgam, Kralpora, Handwara, Chotipora, Kulangam and Bandipora districts were also under curfew.
There were some incidents of stone pelting and clashes in Baramulla, Srinagar and Chadoora on Tuesday.
Some people tried to set ablaze a revenue office at Sopore but timely action of police saved the building.
Barring these incidents, the situation remained by and large peaceful throughout the night.
At least 75 people have died in the last three months. The valley has also been subjected to a series of shutdowns and frequent curfews during this period. (ANI)
