The cricketing fever will go high from today as the third session of Indian Premium League (IPL) is going to begin from today evening. To enhance the reach of the IPL match broadcasting, Google India on Friday announced to broadcast the live streaming of matches throughout the series on its biggest entertainment platform – YouTube. The viewers can watch the live streaming of IPL T20 matches – 2010 at free of cost with just 5 minutes of delay.

This news can be cheerful to all those net surfers who cannot watch the live telecast of the matches on the television due to their personal reasons. Since today the net users who love cricket most can watch all the sixty matches live onto their laptop or multimedia enabled mobile phone.

Bharti Airtel, India's biggest integrated telecom player that is also the official Broadband Sponsor of IPL 2010 on YouTube has officially announced that it is offering high speed internet upgradation of 2MBPS at free of cost to its net users for watching all the matches to be played from March 12 to April 25 on YouTube without buffering. The rest surfing of the net will be held according to plan subscription.

The viewers can watch the live streaming of matches on the dedicated IPL channel of YouTube at www.youtube.com/ipl in India. Google India has also informed that it has got the exclusive online rights for IPL content for two years and earned revenue will be mutually shared by Google India and IPL.

Besides, Internet, Television and Radio, cricket lovers can also watch the matches on big screens of some selected cinema halls. According to sources over 650 theatre owners across the country has decided to display the live telecast of the matches with digital sound and some promotional programmes.

Today at 8:00 P.M (Indian Standard Time), the third session of quick cricket will begin with grand opening ceremony amid tight security at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

The Defending Champion Deccan Chargers will take on Shah Rukh Khan sponsored Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) today.

As per last two IPL tournaments, this year too eight same teams – Chennai Super King, Deccan Charges, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajastan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore – are competing for the new championship title.
