London, Feb 19 (ANI): Graziana Capone, a law graduate and model who has been dubbed "the Angelina Jolie of Puglia," the southern region from which she hails, could be filling Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi's list of political candidates for elections next month.
Capone was recently hired to help mould Berlusconi's image on television, La Repubblica reported.
Meanwhile, the girl who put a smile back on the face of Berlusconi after he was attacked with a marble statue, Nicole Minetti, has been shortlisted to contest the crucial elections next month, reports The Telegraph.
Minetti treated the Italian premier for two broken teeth and facial injuries after he was smashed in the face during a political rally.
Her selection has been made despite the furore caused by Berlusconi's attempts to promote showgirls as candidates last year.
The Italian prime minister spent weeks denying reports that his party would stack its list of candidates with attractive young models or actresses.
Italy is holding regional elections at the end of March.
Besides Minetti on the list for prospective regional councilors for Lombardy, there is also Giorgio Puricelli, the physiotherapist of Berlusconi's football club AC Milan and his trusted architect Francesco Magnano.
Minetti appeared as a dancer on a TV show on one of the billionaire politician's channels called Colorado Cafe and on another programme called Scorie which is an Italian version of Candid Camera. (ANI)
