Indore, Feb 18 (ANI): Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh on Thursday apologised to party colleagues for taking some poor decisions while leading the party.
Addressing the party national conference here Singh said that he wants forgiveness from party colleagues for some poor decisions that he took during his tenure.
"If I made some mistakes or poor decisions forgive me. Please forgive me but do not in any way lose faith in the president's post," Singh said.
Singh who took over from Advani in 2005 was mainly blamed for party's debacle in 2009 Lok Sabha election.
Crucial decisions like Jaswant Singh's expulsion, denying re-entry to former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh were taken during Singh's tenure. (ANI)
