Indore, Feb. 10 (ANI): Bharatiya Janta Party is set to go green, as the party's three-day conclave in Indore will be organized on eco-friendly lines.
Delegates at the conclave will live in tents, a move which has been mooted as an austerity measure.
The tents have been specially designed to adhere to the eco-friendly nature of the conclave.
For commuting, bicycles and battery-operated buses would be used.
Party workers say that the BJP is planning to give "go green" message through such celebrations.
"We will use bicycles for commuting from one place to another during this conclave. If our leaders want to go from one point to another, then battery-operated buses are there. We will be using bio-diesel as a fuel for the cars," said Vijayvargiya. Kailash Vijayvargiya, a party-worker.
"The place for the conclave is named Kushav Bhau Thackery. With these celebrations we want to give the message that BJP is an eco-friendly party," he added.
