Kachari (Allahabad), Jan 14 (ANI): Residents of Kachari, an obscure village in Allahabad were most perturbed when a stray bull entered their hamlet on Wednesday.
The enraged bull ran amok and attacked the people. It gored a seventy-year-old local to death and injured another ten persons.
A resident mentioned that the enraged bull's terror lasted for nearly five hours.
"A stray bull entered our village and spread terror for four to five hours in the market place. Earlier, it had done the same in neighbouring villages. It gored and tossed an old man who later succumbed to injuries. It had also injured ten villagers who are now admitted in the hospital," said Anil Kumar, a resident.
Reportedly, the locals tried to control the bull by using spear like implements and throwing stones, which must have further annoyed it. (ANI)
