Etawah (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 12 (ANI): The internal crisis within the Samajwadi Party (SP) refused to die down on Tuesday.
The matter appeared to have suffered another setback on Monday over Amar Singh's claim that Ram Gopal Yadav had apologised to him over phone.
Yadav however, told the media in Etawah on Tuesday that he did not like this statement.
"Yesterday we spoke in front of the media and said the issue was blown over, it was between an elder and a younger brother. After that Amar Singh said that Ram Gopal Yadav had said sorry," Yadav said.
"Then this is something that will further aggravate the crisis, which no body has liked. After this incident I spoke to the party president (Mulayam Singh Yadav), he will speak to Amar Singh when he comes here, what ever decision he takes I will stick to that," Yadav added.
Last week Amar Singh quit all posts that he held in the party over his differences with another party general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav. (ANI)
