Patna, Oct 10(ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inaugurated state's maiden children's film festival in Patna, in which a host of children's films from across the country will be showcased.
The festival is being organized by the Bihar's Information and Public Relation Department, in association with Children's Film Society of India.
While talking to media after the inauguration function, Kumar said that the films shown during the festival would provide healthy entertainment to kids.
"For the first time the children's film festival is being organized in the state that will provide healthy entertainment to kids. Films from across the country, which have been appreciated, are being showed in the film festival. Apart from Patna, these films will be showcased in Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur and Gaya," Nitish Kumar said.
Hundreds of children from different parts of the city enthusiastically participated in the film festival and enjoyed the movies.
"We are having a lot of fun here. We are getting a lot of information. I have watched a film and it was fun," said Sunita Kumari, a schoolgirl.
The film festival will end on November 6. (ANI)
