Rae Bareilly, Aug 11 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday inaugurated the Rajiv Gandhi hostel building at the Firoz Gandhi Engineering College in Rae Bareli.
The hostel has been constructed at a cost of six crore rupees and also residential capacity for 250 students.
She also laid the foundation stone for the administrative building of the college.
On Monday, she visited over a dozen villages, including Kurli Sudauli, Despur, Akhileshwar, Rajamau, Chauhaniya, Pahadpur, Hasratulganj villages.
She also inspected allied works executed under Union Government's National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) scheme.
This is Sonia Gandhi's second visit to her constituency this year. She is expected to review development works in the remote villages of her constituency during her stay. (ANI)
