Ambala (Haryana), August 6 (ANI): A major fire broke out in Ambala district of Haryana on Wednesday, and many shops have been gutted in it.
The fire broke out at Sadar Bazaar, the main market of the Ambala city.
Despite the efforts of the people and the fire fighters, the blaze could not be controlled.
However, people blamed the administration of inability to control the fire.
"The fire is massive and it is continuing unabated for the last three hours. The administration has failed to control the fire. Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner misbehaved with the shopkeepers who went to him for help," said Anil Vij, former lawmaker of Punjab.
The reasons of the fire and the magnitude of loss were being ascertained. (ANI)
